The trend of bringing the indoors out continues! Hortifuturism was a phase heard in 2023 but it mentions a future (2024) where GenZ and Millennials are leaning towards bright colors, textures, and sustainable plants. They also want quality over quantity.
Colorful Plants
As mentioned, the trend will be towards bright purples, pinks, blues and greens. Some are saying that ‘cyber lime’ is the new black. However, just as it is with styles and fashions, it is all about choosing what makes YOU happiest. In general, bright, multi-colored arrangements are desirable to contrast neutral-colored home exteriors.
Low-Maintenance Plants
While people want colorful plants, they also want low-maintenance ones. If it can tolerate drought and thrive on its own, then it is much more desirable to today’s homeowners.
